about

Music of SENSACIONES CARACAS (Caracas Sensations), a show comprised of four musical-audiovisual movements to be listened, observed, experienced, and felt live.

SENSACIONES CARACAS explores the hope in one-self's transformation; the sorrow of distance –the dreamt memento of a reality that no longer exists–; the sun that shines in the Caribbean with a sacred glow and frames the city with colors in it's expansion, liberty and movement.

SENSACIONES CARACAS is composed of music that converges in the capital of a country rich in musical traditions. The song of the flute evokes the Venezuelan "llano" (plains) with flashes of ancestral rituals. The saxophone inflates with heartfelt melodies and abstract sounds that are possible in the Caracas travelled by the contemporary, jazz, and native drums.
